Meet the Team

Meet the key members of the team:

Rob Lawson - Founder & CEO


Rob has extensive experience in building businesses across a variety of fields. Starting from college in the construction industry he worked as an estimator for Boral subsidiary Derite; before working as project manager on many large commercial buildings throughout his home state of Queensland. The project management skills learnt during this period have been invaluable when applied to other businesses less disciplined in this area.

A move into the advertising industry in the late 1980's gave Rob his first taste of sales and marketing. Starting in sales Rob worked his way through State Sales Management to National Marketing Manager of Shop-A-Docket having been one of the handful of employees to start the company. Opening new territories, developing the product suite and sales systems where key achievements during the 8 years of service in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth, plus countless country towns all over Australia.

In 1996 Rob moved back to Melbourne to begin his consulting career. Working on several projects ranging from building design, Interact - a Victorian Government Technology Exhibition, a software business, and solid forklift tyres. This eventually lead to a full time role as Marketing Director for a subsidiary of Draupner AB (a Swedish Software Localization Company) called Meta Language Engineering. With 9 global offices - Metalang serviced automotive clients and software developers on 3 continents. After 3 years developing the client base, Rob was appointed CEO where he worked for a further 2 years before starting his own business consulting practice. His software experience extended to enterprise content management systems (CMS), Vignette, Documentum etc and web site localization.

Early success with online marketing increased Rob's consulting business substantially; attracting quality leads which converted into numerous clients for his traditional marketing business. This success led to the question - 'why can't we do this for our clients'; and a 5 year journey to develop a methodology for benchmarking client sites against competitors and best practice. iQuantum emerged from the traditional marketing consulting to focus solely on online marketing strategy.

Alexandra Padey - Project Manager


Alexandra Padey has more than 15 years in the banking and finance industry. Ten of those years were spent managing operations, working on process improvements and a variety of projects. These projects covered a wide range of strategic initiatives including technology developments and implementing new systems. Alex uses her experience to assist our clients and combines excellent communication skills with a focus on successfully getting things done.

Jessica Lowry - Optimisation Analyst


In her role as Optimisation Analyst, Jessica leads the research and evaluation of client websites, and is intimately involved in establishing an industry benchmark for competitive comparison. Through thorough analysis of keyword research, SEO best practices, and website strategies, Jessica assists in the creation and implementation of online strategies.

Jessica is also responsible for the management of Client paid traffic initiatives such as Google AdWords campaigns.

Additionally, she understands how Social Media environments work, and how their users behave and how to communicate with them. Jessica works in conjunction with clients to develop more complete social media strategies and gain valuable insights. Connect with Jessica online: Twitter, Linkedin

Andrew Dickson - Project Manager


Andrew has a background in web development and quality assurance with a focus on transforming user requirements into successful project delivery. With more than 10 years experience in the online world, Andrew's expertise covers ecommerce and web portal projects, retail campaign management, website analytics and website usability.
 
Andrew's role at iQuantum is to ensure clients receive an excellent project experience whilst enjoying a seamless transition along the 'online food chain'.

Applying understanding of online search behaviour, the iQuantum team develops and continually monitors carefully designed ads to deliver targeted traffic to client's websites.
